Oh, Q.E.D. How I loved you.
Q.E.D. ran for all of six episodes back in the spring of 1982. I was ten years old at the time and newly in love with all things Victorian/Edwardian. This was the perfect show for me - Edwardian London, a dashing handsome scientific genius, lots of action, lots of inventions - and I was heartbroken when it disappeared as abruptly as it appeared. (Years later, I realized that the guy on Law & Order was the same man who played Quentin E. Deverill, which was startling. Recognizing Julian Glover as various villains throughout the years has not been as disconcerting.)
