Contrary to popular opinion, we are not shut down like the government, although a vacation does sound nice.
No! Instead, we have books! Many books! Books to be given to deserving readers! We begin with…
The Osiris Curse: A Tweed & Nightingale Adventure
by Paul Crilley
Earlier this year, we reviewed and gave away The Lazarus Machine, the first book in Paul Crilley's Tweed and Nightingale series. Olivia Nightingale and Sebastian Tweed are back for another adventure in a steampunk Victorian era which begins in London, moves to Cairo, and then goes in directions heretofore unimagined. Dirigibles, international intrigue, conspiracies and some good old-fashioned Sherlockian detective work pack the pages, and it’s a rollicking good read.
We have one beautiful hardbound copy of The Osiris Curse to give away, and we'll most likely give away an advance reader copy paperback as well! To enter the drawing for the giveaway, post a comment below and tell us what you would do if you found yourself with a ticket to journey via dirigible to Victorian-era Egypt. Would you explore the pyramids? Wander the bazaars? Stay on the dirigible and sketch the surroundings? Post a comment before the deadline of Friday, October 18th (yes, that’s this Friday, we are operating on a speedy schedule here) and see what happens next. Best of luck to all!
